Vareniyam is a generative project released on Highlight.xyz inviting the collector on a journey of exploration by means of randomness. Collectors have chosen which parameters to re-roll and marked their favourites to find magnificent outputs that nobody else could have discovered.
Vareniyam is a Sanskrit word from the Gayatri mantra, in context of which it means "chosen" or "desirable".

Each Vareniyam output has two traits: "age" is the cumulative amount of time spent exploring before minting this output. "ver" means "version" and it's made of two numbers documenting the collector's exploration journey. The first number counts the full random re-rolls (randomizing all parameters), and the 2nd number counts the individual fine tuning re-rolls (randomizing one category of parameters) made to arrive at this exact output.
This way you can get an impression of the effort spent locating Vareniyam's treasures in its infinite sea. Of course this doesn't mean the ones with lower numbers are worse in any way, there is always luck and the decision to mint or not. Just because someone spent an hour exploring Vareniyam doesn't mean that every output from then on will be better, cause that is not how random does.
